Mr. Mu-Chien WU (Biological Nanoscale Reactive Flow Laboratory, Research Student (National Chiao Tung University, D5)) received the Best Poster Presentation Award for the presentation at the 6th Japan-Taiwan Workshop on Plasma Life Science and Technology (2019JTPL) which was held on July 11-13, 2019 at the Tsuruoka Metabolome Campus in Yamagata, Japan.

This award is given to young researchers for their outstanding presentations.

In this study, we are able to generate 100 mL plasma activated water at atmosphere. The important species which play key roles in sterilization process were measured and the sterilization efficiency can be up to 5 log reduction after 10 minutes plasma activated water treatment. It is very promising for biomedical application.
