Prof. Jong-Shinn Wu has just received the 2018 annual Outstanding Research Award of MOST (Ministry of Science & Technology) of Taiwan. Congratulations! 恭賀!吳宗信教授於3/27榮獲2018年台灣科技部傑出研究獎

Congratulations to Prof. Jong-Shinn Wu, who is the head of APPL (Aerothermal & Plasma Physics Lab.) and the director/founder of ARRC (Advanced Rocket Research Center) of NCTU, that he has just received the 2018 annual Outstanding Research Award of MOST (Ministry of Science & Technology) of Taiwan. The award is attributed to his important contribution in hybrid rocket propulsion, low-temperature plasma physics, rarefied gas dynamics, and parallel scientific computing. Prof. Wu’s research efforts at NCTU for the past 20 years have finally been recognized!

恭喜國立交通大學APPL 「氣熱與電漿實驗室」的指導教授,同時也是ARRC「前瞻火箭研究中心」創辦人兼主任吳宗信教授, 於今年3月底榮獲2018年「科技部傑出研究獎」。主要得獎在於獎勵他對於混合式火箭引擎推進系統, 低溫電漿物理, 稀薄氣體動力學模擬及平行科學計算等研究工作的重要貢獻。可謂「二十年磨一劍」!
