A U.S. patent is granted for the APPL group’s invention, named “Atmospheric-Pressure Plasma Jet Generating Device”, which is also known as “Universal Gas APP Device” on Nov. 6, 2018. This APP device is also named as “Universal Gas APP device” since it can be used for almost any kind of gases including helium, argon, nitrogen, oxygen or air as either an APP jet type or plasma activated water (PAW) type, mainly because of its special design of electrode arrangement.
